Begin change today.

How you ask. How do I begin to change? What is this RRR method? I get that question a lot. People will ask “How do I get as happy as you, as optimistic as you, as light as you?” Long ago when these questions first came I had to stop and think about this and sort through it. It occurred to me that I never publicly shared the answer.

For those of you who have been wondering how to begin change with the RRR method, here is the short version:

  • REFLECT. Turning inward is the first piece of the puzzle of change. Ask yourself the hard questions: “Am I where I want to be in life? Do I make the money I want? Am I happy enough? Do I enjoy my days, my relationships, my career? Am I connected to myself and my needs?” Reflect on the five areas of life and rate yourself one to ten. (The five areas are: Health, Wealth, Relationships, Career, Spirituality) Figure out where you stand. These are the questions that will stimulate a real pain or areal sense of pride. If there is pain, move on to step 2.
  • REACT. Action is the the next step. Seek out a guide, mentor or friend who has outside perspective. Have this person give you direct feedback. You’ll find that most people won’t directly offer their thoughts on your life unless they’ve been pushed to. Go ahead and ask them what they notice about your life. The answers may surprise or hurt you, but leaning into the pain means you will push through it. Lean in now, listen and be ready for step 3.
  • RESET. Now that you’ve decided things aren’t working as you hoped and you’ve got some insight to what others recognize about you you get to circle back and reset the BS that’s held you from being an amazing version of yourself. That’s right, step three is about resetting the Belief Systems that keep you playing small, feeling inferior and off path. This piece of the puzzle is about getting clear on the old stories that you learned through your parents, your school, church and life in general. It’s the half-truths that keep your Inner Me working against you. EFT is the go-to tool to eliminate the old stories and reinstall new ones.

Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.

When you begin to change, mountains move.

Trust me. I’ve seen it time and again with my clients. They start with pages of problems listed on their timeline and within weeks they can’t remember why they wrote those things down, the are suddenly irrelevant. With EFT they peel off the layers of stories that were not serving them and the next thing you know there is a spring in their step, a song in their heart and they are on their way to successful living, a life of freedom, clarity and momentum.

Change is a pretty thing.
